ACM provides all-day health screening in each ministry base throughout our outreach communities every Tuesday and Saturday.
Screening is a way of finding out if people are at higher risk of a health problem, so that early treatment can be offered or information given to help individuals make informed healthcare decisions. The communities we serve have experienced a high incident of death from strokes and undiagnosed diabetes. ACM focuses its health screening in these two disease areas.The aim is to offer screening to the people who are most likely to benefit from it.
Facility centers(aka bases) are established in each community with well trained personnel to check vital signs, provide comprehensive primary care and preventive screening. In reference to the results from the screening a referral is given by our competent staff and volunteers, to see specialists, if required.
